Every chapter of my life—from policing to parenting, from trauma to triumph—has been a response to a deeper pull: to lead with heart, to restore what’s been broken, and to help others reconnect with what matters most.

  • I always knew I wanted to help people, but I never knew it would take me into the frontlines of Policing.

    Over the past 2 decades, I have had the most amazing career, meeting some very interesting people from all walks of life and being a voice for the unheard.

    No matter where you have come from or what you have experienced, you still deserve a chance and that is so important to remember for everyone.

  • I have always had a heart for youth, especially at-risk and immigrant youth. Those that have a voice, yet seem to go unheard.

    I was so excited when I had the opportunity to work in the High Schools as a School Resource Officer. To be able to build those relationships and trust not only with the students, but the staff and parents as well.

    It was not easy as I became not only a counsellor, a sounding board, but also a parental figure to many of these youth. The impact I had on these kids, though it may not have been known at the time, was huge, yet the impact these kids had on me was priceless.

    These youth taught me that no matter where you came from or the traumas that you may have faced, each person had a diamond within them. All it took was one person to polish that diamond and it would begin to sparkle. A kind word, believing in a young person, giving the young person a second chance….such a simple act was all that was required!

    I have taken what I learnt from the youth and use it in my everyday life.

    Each person brings a light into this world and it's our mission to see that light and help them to let it shine.

  • I have always wanted to be a mom so when I was told that I may not be able to have a child, I knew in my heart that God had a special plan for me.

    I was called to be a mom, not only to my own son but to other youths. As a mom, it is so important to nurture and guide our kids while embracing the challenges. This has allowed me to become the best mom that I can be!

  • God has gifted me with a beautiful talent, my voice. When I sing, time seems to pause, and a deep joy fills my being.

    Through my music, I have found a unique voice to convey my emotions, share stories, and create moments of beauty that resonate with both myself and those who listen.

  • Giving back is a huge part of who I am and I have been so blessed to be able to serve along side these amazing charities: Woods Homes, Gems for Gems and Hopes Cradle, Ruths House, and Hopes Mission.

    The people I have met and the lives that have been impacted through this work is priceless. Its my heartfelt commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

    It’s all about contributing to the well-being of the community, fostering compassion, and being a positive force for change, one act of kindness at a time.
